The Study Regulations define the organization of the educational process and the rights and obligations of students at the Public Vocational University in Grudziądz. This document is the basic internal act regulating the course of first-cycle studies conducted at the University. The current Regulations were introduced by Senate Resolution No. 5/2025/2026 of February 16, 2026, and apply to all students, academic teachers, and persons involved in the educational process.
The Study Regulations specify in particular:
- rules for admission to studies (recruitment, confirmation of learning outcomes, transfers),
- organization of the academic year,
- student rights and obligations,
- conditions and procedures for conducting classes,
- rules for completing semesters and courses,
- rules regarding conditional enrollment, repeating a semester, and leaves of absence,
- organization and completion of professional internships,
- transfer procedures,
- rules for removal from the student register and resumption of studies,
- the procedure for preparing a thesis and conducting a diploma examination.
The regulations specify in detail the rights of students, including, among others, the right to:
- reliable and up-to-date knowledge,
- participation in the assessment of the quality of education,
- transfer and recognition of ECTS credits,
- consultations,
- applying for individual study arrangements (IOS),
- obtaining financial aid and scholarships
The basic responsibilities of students include, in particular:
- participation in classes in accordance with the study plan,
- timely completion of coursework and exams,
- compliance with the regulations in force at the University,
- caring for the good name of the University
