The Study Regulations define the organization of the educational process and the rights and obligations of students at the Public Vocational University in Grudziądz. This document is the basic internal act regulating the course of first-cycle studies conducted at the University. The current Regulations were introduced by Senate Resolution No. 5/2025/2026 of February 16, 2026, and apply to all students, academic teachers, and persons involved in the educational process.
The Study Regulations specify in particular:
rules for admission to studies (recruitment, confirmation of learning outcomes, transfers),
organization of the academic year,
student rights and obligations,
conditions and procedures for conducting classes,
rules for completing semesters and courses,
rules regarding conditional enrollment, repeating a semester, and leaves of absence,
organization and completion of professional internships,
transfer procedures,
rules for removal from the student register and resumption of studies,
the procedure for preparing a thesis and conducting a diploma examination.
The regulations specify in detail the rights of students, including, among others, the right to:
reliable and up-to-date knowledge,
participation in the assessment of the quality of education,
transfer and recognition of ECTS credits,
consultations,
applying for individual study arrangements (IOS),
obtaining financial aid and scholarships
The basic responsibilities of students include, in particular:
participation in classes in accordance with the study plan,
timely completion of coursework and exams,
compliance with the regulations in force at the University,
caring for the good name of the University

The Study Regulations form the basis for the organization of the educational process and guarantee transparent, equal, and legally compliant rules for the functioning of the academic community.
The Public Vocational College in Grudziądz operates an Internal Education Quality System (WSJK) to ensure that the quality of education complies with the requirements of higher education legislation. The Internal Education Quality System primarily covers the objectives and processes related to improving the quality of education.
Objectives of the Internal Education Quality System:
– shaping pro-quality attitudes and building a culture of quality,
– ensuring consistency in education,
– students achieving the intended learning outcomes,
– improving the quality of teaching, technical, and administrative staff,
– utilizing the potential of the socio-economic environment to improve the quality of education,
– sharing information about actions taken to improve quality and learning outcomes achieved,
– improving the quality and development of infrastructure and increasing the number of laboratories and specialized workshops available for use by students.
The basic procedures in the field of education quality are:
– evaluation of classes conducted by academic teachers,
– observation of classes,
– evaluation of student satisfaction.
The quality of education also includes graduation procedures and monitoring the professional careers of graduates. A collection of information on the quality of education is contained in the Education Quality Book, which is an internal document used at the Public Vocational University in Grudziądz.
Social scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year
– A social scholarship is awarded to students in difficult financial circumstances, upon their request.
– Students must provide documentation of their difficult financial circumstances.
– Students whose net income per family member does not exceed PLN 1,908.90 per month are eligible to apply for a social scholarship in the 2025/2026 academic year.
– Students applying for a social scholarship must submit an APPLICATION
List of documents required when applying for a social scholarship
1. Certificates from the Tax Office (US) confirming the income earned in the previous calendar year by family members whose income is subject to personal income tax on general terms.
2. Certificates from the Tax Office on flat-rate income tax for the previous calendar year for family members who settle their taxes in the form of a lump sum/tax card.
3. Statements from family members regarding the amount of other income not subject to income tax earned in the previous calendar year. (downloadable file – Appendix 7)
4. Certificate from the competent municipal authority on the size of the farm in the previous calendar year.
5. Photocopy of the payment order.
6. Certificates of siblings in education.
7. Applicant's statement.
8. Applicant's statement that they do not share a household with any of their parents, legal guardians, or actual guardians – applies to students who are applying for a scholarship without providing proof of family income.
10. Statement on the family and financial situation of a student who is a citizen of Ukraine.
11. Certificates containing information on the amount of health insurance contributions in the calendar year preceding the year in which the student submits the application (certificate from the Social Insurance Institution or pension fund - pension institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), applies to family members or students who in the previous year earned income shown in the certificate from the Tax Office subject to personal income tax on general terms.
The 2024/2025 academic year runs from October 1, 2024, to September 14, 2025, and is divided into two semesters: winter and summer. The inauguration of the academic year will take place on October 4, 2024.
